The Hearst Foundations fund program, capital, and endowment grants to U.S.-based 501(c)(3) nonprofits addressing access to healthcare for high-need populations, workforce shortages, evolving healthcare demands, and medical research, with a minimum grant size of $100,000. Priority areas include professional development; improving access to high-quality care for low-income, rural, and veteran populations; specialized elder care; behavioral and mental healthcare; scaling efficient, coordinated delivery systems; and research toward cures and treatments for prevalent diseases such as cancer.
