Histiocytosis Association Research Program Annual Funding Process

About this program

The Histiocytosis Association’s annual Research Program funds one-year scientific studies addressing the causes, mechanisms, biomarkers, quality of life, and treatment of histiocytic disorders, including rare subtypes and adult disease. Physicians and scientists worldwide may apply, with proposals evaluated for scientific merit, feasibility, and relevance through expert peer review. Applications must include investigator and project information, specific aims, a lay summary, budget, bibliographical sketch, and other-support details, and the current application window closes June 9. Awardees must use funds as proposed, submit annual scientific and lay reports, publicly share findings, and acknowledge the Association’s support.
