Cornerstone Grant

About this program

The Histochemical Society’s Cornerstone Grant provides $3,250 in direct-cost support for approximately one year of early-career research using immunohistochemistry, histochemical techniques, in situ hybridization, or related methods. Eligible applicants include residents or fellows, PhD or thesis-based master’s students, and combined-degree students; international applicants are welcome. Applicants must become Histochemical Society members before funds are disbursed and submit a research plan, budget, CVs, mentor support letter, and ORCID IDs. Awardees must complete the project, submit a scientific report, and present an abstract at the Society’s Annual Meeting or another major scientific conference.
