HSF Danby Research Grant Program

About this program

The Hidradenitis Suppurativa Foundation offers the Danby Research Grant Program to support innovative clinical and translational research on hidradenitis suppurativa that advances patient care. Up to four one-year awards of $30,000 in direct costs may be granted for projects conducted from June 1, 2027, through May 31, 2028; indirect, travel, and publication costs are not eligible. Applicants must be investigators working in the United States who are eligible under their host institution’s policies and personally responsible for the proposed research, with priority given to early-stage investigators. Projects must be relevant to HS, methodologically sound, and demonstrate potential to improve patient care or generate further funding; applications were due December 7, 2026.
