HSF Translational Research Grant Program

About this program

The Hidradenitis Suppurativa Foundation offers up to two Translational Research Grants annually to support innovative HS research with potential to attract future NIH or other long-term funding. Awards provide up to $100,000 in direct costs for a one-year project running June 1, 2027, through May 31, 2028. Principal investigators must be actively responsible for the research, eligible through their host institutions, and based in the United States; early-stage investigators and institutional teams are encouraged to apply. Projects should demonstrate relevance and innovation in HS, strong methodology, patient or caregiver input, diverse research participation, and potential for clinical impact and additional funding.
