IADR Hatton Competition and Awards

About this program

The International Association for Dental Research (IADR) Hatton Competition enables outstanding junior investigators from IADR Divisions and Sections to present dental research at the annual IADR General Session. Participants receive prepaid meeting registration, four nights of hotel accommodation, and a $1,000 travel stipend; up to six winners receive trophies and prizes of $1,600 or $800. Applicants must be IADR members (or have applied in good faith by the submission deadline), win a local IADR Division or Section competition, and be invited by Division or Section officers. Junior candidates must be enrolled in dental or equivalent undergraduate training, while senior candidates must be in post-dental, postgraduate, Ph.D., specialty, or postdoctoral training, or within three years of earning a Ph.D.
