IBRO/Dana Foundation Brain Awareness Week Grants

About this program

The Dana Foundation, in partnership with the International Brain Research Organization (IBRO) and the Federation of European Neuroscience Societies (FENS), provides small grants to support Brain Awareness Week outreach—IBRO/Dana awards up to USD 1,250 for projects outside Europe (including the United States/Canada, Africa, Latin America, and Asia/Pacific) and FENS/Dana awards up to €1,000 for projects in Europe. Funding is intended to help organizers expand Brain Awareness Week programming and reach broader, more diverse public audiences with educational activities about the brain and neuroscience research. Eligible applicants are organizers of Brain Awareness Week events (universities, societies, community groups and similar outreach organizers) in the relevant regions, and projects must be planned specifically for Brain Awareness Week and demonstrate public outreach impact.
