Impact Grant

About this program

Branch Out Foundation’s Impact Grant provides up to $5,000 to support application of neuroCAM research beyond the lab to generate community impact (examples: knowledge translation events, early commercialization activities, open-access publishing fees, or collaborations with community organizations). Applicants must be affiliated with one of Branch Out’s partner Canadian universities (Brock, University of Alberta, University of Calgary, University of Lethbridge, University of Northern British Columbia, University of Toronto, University of Saskatchewan, University of Victoria, MacEwan, or Mount Royal) and include neuroCAM research as a component; funds cannot be used for research costs. Community partnerships and cost-conscious budgets are encouraged, and funded projects must consult with Branch Out and acknowledge the Foundation as sponsor. Applications are accepted quarterly (deadlines Feb 1, May 1, Aug 1, Nov 1; awards announced at the end of those months); contact research@branchoutfoundation.com or hello@branchoutfoundation.com for questions.
