About this program

Prevent Cancer Foundation’s 2027 Impact Grants offer two-year awards of $50,000 per year (total $100,000) to support innovative projects that advance cancer prevention and early detection. Two tracks are available: Track 1 funds research grants or fellowships focused on cancers without U.S. guideline-recommended screening methods for the general population, while Track 2 funds community projects that expand cancer screenings and vaccinations led by rural-based organizations. Eligibility is track-specific—investigators or fellows for Track 1 and rural-based organizations implementing screening/vaccination initiatives for Track 2. Applications open April 8, 2026 and are due May 20, 2026 (5:00 p.m. ET); applicants will be notified December 4, 2026 and funded projects begin January 15, 2027.
