In Youth We Trust Grants

About this program

The Community Foundation of Northern Illinois offers the In Youth We Trust Youth Grants to support youth-led projects in Boone, Ogle, Stephenson, and Winnebago Counties, fostering grantmaking, volunteerism, and leadership skills among young individuals. The Fall 2024 cycle provides up to $40,000 in total funding, with a maximum of $3,000 per project, for initiatives that address community issues creatively and promote youth collaboration. Eligible applicants are youth-led groups within 501(c)(3) organizations, public institutions, or organized groups, primarily consisting of members aged 19 or younger, who must actively plan and implement the projects. Applications are open from October 1 to November 8, 2024, excluding for-profit organizations, adult-led projects, and religious activities.
