About this program
The Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP) offers the IDEAS Student Award to recognize student contributions to diversity, inclusion, social justice, or advocacy in sport and performance psychology through research, service, or applied work. The recipient receives $1,000, complimentary registration for the AASP Annual Conference in the award year, and a conference-presented plaque. Applicants must be current AASP student members and demonstrate important contributions in at least one eligible area. Applications, due April 15 annually, require a three-page essay, an AASP professional member recommendation, an updated CV, and a PDF sample of relevant work.
