International Research Grant for Students and Early Career Professionals (ECPs)

About this program

The Society for the Advancement of Psychotherapy’s International Domain offers a $1,000 International Research Grant to support graduate students and early career professionals conducting international or cross-cultural psychotherapy research. Funds may cover research supplies, training, data collection, or travel to present findings, with recipients expected to disseminate results in a scholarly forum and the Psychotherapy Bulletin. Applicants must be SAP members, enrolled graduate students or professionals within 10 years of receiving a doctoral degree, and submit a cover letter, detailed budget, 5–10-page proposal, and recommendation letter by March 31.
