Merck & Co.’s Investigator Studies Program (MISP) provides drug/vaccine supply and/or total or partial funding to support high-quality investigator-initiated research that is externally designed, sponsored, and intended for dissemination in peer-reviewed publications. Applicants can use the online Submission Prep Wizard and MISP resources to identify current Areas of Interest, access submission templates, deadlines, and committee review schedules. Open to academic and community-based physicians and researchers worldwide, proposals are reviewed by therapeutic-area medical and scientific committees for scientific merit and alignment with published AOIs; submission does not guarantee approval and any financial or product support is contingent on execution of a research agreement.
