Investment readiness for the Landscape Resilience Fund

The World Wildlife Fund (WWF), in partnership with the Global Environment Facility (GEF), offers the Investment Readiness program for the Landscape Resilience Fund (LRF) to support small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in preparing climate adaptation projects for private investment. This initiative focuses on sustainable agriculture, forestry, and ecosystem strategies to benefit vulnerable communities, particularly smallholder farmers and indigenous peoples, in GEF-eligible countries across Sub-Saharan Africa, Southeast Asia, and Latin America. Eligible applicants are SMEs operating in these regions, targeting climate change adaptation and resilience through sustainable practices. The program provides a total funding of US $1,142,661 in GEF grants, with additional co-financing of US $12,821,806, to catalyze private investment in scalable climate adaptation projects.
