ISHR International Poster Award — World Congress poster prize for outstanding young investigators

About this program

The International Society for Heart Research (ISHR) offers International Poster Awards at its triennial World Congress to recognize outstanding poster presentations by young investigators; winners receive a certificate, ribbon and a typical monetary prize of $150. Awards are judged during poster sessions by a panel of MCI and senior investigators—authors give a brief (~5‑minute) presentation and answer questions—and the number of prizes varies by theme and session. Eligibility is limited to students and Fellows within eight years of their terminal degree who are ISHR members in good standing, are the first or last author on the abstract, are present at the meeting, and indicate their desire to compete when submitting the abstract.
