Jain Foundation - How to Apply for Research Grants

About this program

The Jain Foundation funds research aimed at accelerating development of treatments or cures for dysferlinopathies (LGMD2B/LGMDR2 and Miyoshi Myopathy) using a non-traditional funding model. Funding is available via pre-proposals, new submissions, and renewals; proposals are reviewed in-house by the Foundation’s scientific advisory board on a rolling basis with typical responses within 4–6 weeks. Projects must have direct application to dysferlinopathies to be considered, and proposals unrelated to these diseases will not be accepted. Applicants should review currently funded projects for examples and follow the Foundation’s submission procedures.
