Jessie Bernard Contribution to Feminist Scholarship Paper Award

About this program

The National Council on Family Relations offers the Jessie Bernard Contribution to Feminist Scholarship Paper Award to recognize rigorous feminist scholarship that examines bias, privilege, and oppression in Family Science and society. The recipient receives up to $350 for travel, up to $95 toward NCFR Annual Conference registration, and a plaque presented at the conference. Applicants must be graduate students or new professionals within five years of postdoctoral work; NCFR membership is not required. Submissions must include a cover letter, abstract of no more than 150 words, and a near-submission-ready paper of no more than 35 manuscript pages, with the applicant as sole or first author, by May 22.
