Ken Nickoles Award

About this program

The Maryland Association of School Business Officials (MD ASBO), with support from American Fidelity, offers the annual Ken Nickoles Emerging Leader Award to recognize members who demonstrate exceptional commitment to ASBO and leadership development. The award covers registration, one year of ASBO International membership, hotel accommodations, travel, and meals for the ASBO International Annual Meeting and Expo. Applicants must be current MD ASBO members with at least three consecutive years of membership, full-time school business employees in an MD ASBO-recognized discipline, and have served at least three years on an MD ASBO committee or currently serve on its Board of Directors with a recommendation. A 1–2-page statement addressing the applicant’s MD ASBO service, professional development, leadership, and commitment to ASBO’s mission is due to the executive director by April 1.
