LAF Olmsted Scholars Program

About this program

The Landscape Architecture Foundation’s Olmsted Scholars Program recognizes and supports exceptional student leaders advancing sustainable design and human and societal benefits through landscape architecture. National winners receive $25,000 at the graduate level and $15,000 at the undergraduate level, with additional recognition for scholars and finalists. Students do not apply directly; each LAAB- or LAAC-accredited landscape architecture program in the United States and Canada may nominate one student. Eligible nominees are current master’s students or undergraduates in their fourth or fifth year who demonstrate commitment to landscape architecture and leadership potential.
