Legion National Foundation Master's Scholarship (CIMVHR)

About this program

The Legion National Foundation, in partnership with the Canadian Institute for Military and Veteran Health Research (CIMVHR), awards an annual entrance Master's scholarship of CAD $15,000 per year for two years to support master's-level research focused on Veterans and their families. The award seeks to expand Canadian research on life-course needs of service members and their families, foster connections between emerging researchers and CIMVHR’s network of university and government partners, and support high-impact work that can be rapidly translated into policy, programs, or practice. Eligible applicants are master's students conducting research related to Veterans and their families, with the program aimed at building Canadian scholarship and training future researchers; the application period is currently closed (no deadline provided).
