LEO Pharma Investigator-Initiated Studies (IIS) Program

About this program

LEO Pharma funds Investigator-Initiated Studies (IIS) to support independent clinical and observational research that advances understanding of its therapies—providing financial support and/or study drug supply primarily in dermatology and related areas. Support covers interventional clinical studies (phase II–IV) and non-interventional real-world evidence studies involving LEO Pharma products; non-clinical studies and compassionate use requests are out of scope. Eligible applicants are independent investigators or academic institutions able to act as study sponsor, with qualified staff (GCP/GMP), expert statistical support, a robust study design, and the ability to meet regulatory obligations, safety reporting, timelines, and publication commitments. Proposals (including study plan, methodology, and budget) are submitted via your local LEO representative or IIS_program@leo-pharma.com and are reviewed quarterly with fixed submission deadlines (Feb 28, May 31, Aug 31, Nov 30).
