Lipedema Foundation Research Program

About this program

The Lipedema Foundation’s Research Program funds research to define, diagnose, and develop treatments for lipedema, addressing gaps in diagnostic tools, disease biology, genetics, and epidemiology. Established in 2015, the Foundation has committed more than $11 million to building the lipedema research field and network. Applicants may include basic, diagnostic, genetic, and clinical researchers whose projects advance understanding of lipedema; prospective applicants should review the Foundation’s grant program and letter-of-intent submission guidance for current eligibility and requirements.
