Louis Galambos National Fellowship in Business and Politics

Hagley Museum and Library’s Louis Galambos National Fellowship in Business and Politics supports completion of exceptional doctoral dissertations that use Hagley’s library collections as a significant source and align with the mission of the National Fellowship Program. The 12-month fellowship includes a $30,000 stipend, an office, stack and interlibrary loan access, internet and visiting-scholar accommodations, a seminar presentation, pairing with a senior scholar mentor, and requires in-residence presence at Hagley during the fall and spring plus at least one ~10-day skills-training visit to the Jefferson Scholars Foundation at the University of Virginia. Eligible applicants are advanced doctoral candidates (ABD) or equivalent who are completing a dissertation substantially based on Hagley collections; application deadline is February 1.
