Louisville Institute Doctoral Fellowship

About this program

The Louisville Institute offers a two-year Doctoral Fellowship for students exploring theological education as a vocation, providing $3,000 annually and covering approved travel and lodging for Vocation of the Theological Educator gatherings. Applicants must be in their first or second year of a Ph.D., Th.D., or pontifical S.T.D. program at an accredited institution in the United States or Canada, with at least two years remaining and a demonstrated interest in theological education. Applications, including an essay, transcript, CV, and two recommendations, are due online by March 1, 2027; recommenders’ letters are due March 8, 2027.
