Lyman Newell Grants for the Annual Summer Conference of the New England Association of Chemistry Teachers

The Northeastern Section of the American Chemical Society (NESACS) offers Lyman C. Newell Grants to help cover conference costs for up to four high school chemistry teachers attending the annual four-day New England Association of Chemistry Teachers Summer Conference. The conference provides laboratory activities, teaching demonstrations, and opportunities to develop new classroom units, typically at a New England educational institution in early August. Grants are open to all secondary school chemistry teachers, with preference given to those new to or returning to teaching. Applicants do not need to belong to NESACS or NEACT and should submit nominations to Dr. Ruth Tanner.
