About this program
The Optica Foundation, in partnership with the optical coatings community, offers the Macleod Student Prizes to recognize promising student contributions in optics and photonics presented at the Optical Interference Coatings (OIC) conference. Prizes are awarded based on the quality of the paper, oral and poster presentations, and contribution to the technical community. Eligible applicants must be undergraduate or graduate students who opt in during the OIC submission process, have a paper accepted through the regular call for papers, and present it in person at the conference. Presentations must include a five-minute oral presentation and a poster.
