About this program
The Brain & Behavior Research Foundation's Maltz Prize for Innovative and Promising Schizophrenia Research awards $40,000 to an investigator in recognition of innovative and promising work in schizophrenia. Winners are selected annually by that year’s Lieber Prize recipient(s) and are honored at the Foundation’s International Awards Dinner in New York City each October. Eligibility is limited to investigators actively undertaking innovative schizophrenia research, with selection predicated on the originality and promise of their work as judged by the Lieber Prize awardee(s).
