About this program

The Pulmonary Hypertension Association offers the Health Disparities in PH Research Award to fund studies addressing early diagnosis, education, and improved clinical outcomes for pulmonary hypertension patients affected by health inequities. The award provides up to $50,000 per year for up to two years. Eligibility is open to U.S. and international applicants with advanced degrees (PhD, MD, DO, PharmD, or equivalent) or doctoral-level clinical degrees in public health, clinical health sciences, nursing, or allied health. Diverse research teams are encouraged, and simultaneous submission of grants with scientific overlap is allowed, provided notification is given if multiple applications are funded.
