Margaret (Marty) Baker Graham Research Grant

Endowed by the family and friends of Margaret (Marty) Baker Graham and administered by the Business Communication Research Foundation, the Margaret Baker Graham Research Grant provides a $500 award to support doctoral students conducting dissertation research in business communication and is presented at the Association for Business Communication Annual International Conference. Applicants must be enrolled in a doctoral program in a business communication–related field and actively collecting data and writing their dissertation, with preference for those demonstrating financial need in the late stages of their program. Required materials are a letter of application indicating need, current vitae, a two-page single-spaced description of research with progress to date, and contact names/emails for the dean, department chair, and a press-release contact; self-nominations and nominations by advisors or ABC members are accepted. The Graduate Studies Committee reviews and ranks submissions and forwards recommendations to the Business Communication Research Foundation Board for final approval.
