About this program
The Osteo Science Foundation offers the Mark E. Wong Resident Research Award to support innovative, clinically relevant entry-level research in hard and soft tissue regeneration within Oral and CranioMaxillofacial Surgery. Awards provide up to $10,000 annually for one- or two-year projects, with a maximum total of $20,000 including indirect costs capped at 10%. Eligible applicants include residents and fellows in full-time, accredited Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery programs in the United States or Canada, as well as qualifying dental students or DDS/PhD graduates pursuing careers in OMS. Applicants must have a senior project mentor, conduct all research in the United States or Canada, and submit applications online between October 1 and December 1.
