About this program

The Foundation for Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation offers the Martin Grabois Chronic Pain Rehabilitation Research Grant, a $10,000 seed award to support short-term research on chronic pain rehabilitation in PM&R; the award is presented at the AAPM&R Annual Meeting and applications are due online by May 1. Applicants must be AAPM&R members (applicant and/or at least one co-investigator) and submit the Foundation application form with a concise research statement, anticipated outcomes, a proposed budget showing other cash/in-kind support (indirect costs ≤10%), a sponsoring institution letter of support, and a CV. Awardees will be notified by August 15, must commence work promptly, submit a complete programmatic and fiscal report within 24 months, and submit findings for Foundation review and possible presentation; decisions by the Awards and Grants Review Committee are final.
