About this program
Merck Animal Health, in partnership with the American Veterinary Medical Foundation (AVMF), offers $10,000 scholarships to support second- and third-year veterinary students. Applicants must be in good standing at an AVMA-accredited veterinary school in the United States, Canada, or the Caribbean and demonstrate academic excellence, financial need, and leadership or participation in university-affiliated and other activities. The 2026 application period is November 1–30, with awards expected to be announced and disbursed in early 2027.
