Mid-Career Development Award

About this program

American Contact Dermatitis Society offers the Mid-Career Development Award to help ACDS members defray costs of hands-on training or other educational activities that advance skills in contact dermatitis and/or occupational dermatology, with awards up to $10,000 annually (preference for budgets ≤ $4,000). Eligible applicants are individual ACDS members in good standing who are at least six years out of residency. Funded expenses may include reasonable travel, necessary tuition, and appropriate housing; equipment purchases, meeting registration fees, books, and indirect costs are typically not funded. Applications are due April 15 and October 15 (11:59 pm CST) and must include two reference letters (one from a Peer Expert defining program content/dates or course documentation and one from an ACDS member); if applicant and mentor share an institution justification is required, and awardees must reaffirm dates 60 days prior and submit written progress and financial reports after completion, returning unused funds.
