MIG Scholarship for the Planning and Design of Equitable and Inclusive Environments

About this program

The Landscape Architecture Foundation, established with support from MIG, offers two $5,000 scholarships for graduate students committed to planning and designing equitable and inclusive environments. Applications are due February 1 and support work addressing areas such as accessibility, disadvantaged communities, culturally inclusive design, housing insecurity, and displacement prevention. Applicants must be U.S. citizens enrolled in an LAAB- or LAAC-accredited Master of Landscape Architecture program at a U.S. or Canadian university and have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Required materials include a financial aid form, recommendation letter, 500-word essay, and up to three pages of work samples demonstrating relevant academic or professional work.
