Mini Project Grants (Community Project Grants)

About this program

New Hampshire Humanities provides Mini Project Grants of up to $2,000 to support public humanities programs, fostering cultural engagement and learning opportunities. Applicants must meet a 1:1 cost-share requirement and propose projects with defined award periods, ensuring all expenses and events occur within this timeframe.

Eligible applicants include private nonprofits, higher education institutions, state/local/tribal governments, and associations formed for the project. The grant focuses on free public programs, and applicants must discuss parallel free/low-cost options with NHH staff. The grant excludes art/performance, advocacy, religious advocacy, social services, and other specific expenses.
