MMUF Adjunct Faculty Fellowship

Funded by The Mellon Foundation as part of the Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellowship (MMUF) Advancement Program, the Adjunct Faculty Fellowships provide a $10,000 stipend, six months of protected time, assigned mentorship, and professional support to help MMUF alumni adjunct faculty deepen research and prepare competitive tenure‑track applications. Eligible applicants are MMUF alumni who hold adjunct appointments in designated humanities or social‑science fields and who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents as of November 1, 2025; two fellowships are awarded annually. Fellows must teach one course during the six‑month period, complete the proposed research, and submit a final report including a plan for applying to tenure‑track positions.
