MSA Interchange Ambassador Award

About this program

The Mycological Society of America’s Interchange Ambassador Award supports active MSA members conducting diversity, equity, and inclusion outreach in mycology through activities at STEM conferences, organizations, and minority-serving institutions. Funding may cover travel, registration, housing, subsistence, and approved outreach expenses, with recipients expected to attend and present at the MSA annual meeting. Applicants may be at any academic level from undergraduate onward and must submit an application, CV, research description and MSA abstract, proposed outreach plan and budget, and a recommendation or personal statement. The award is not available for 2026.
