Murray, Benjamin H. Memorial Scholarship Fund

About this program

Community Foundation of Noble County administers the Murray Benjamin H. Memorial Scholarship Fund, awarding two one-time $1,000 scholarships annually to East Noble High School seniors pursuing post-secondary degrees, with preference for applicants planning to study education to become teachers. Awards cover tuition, books, and academic fees (not housing) and may be used toward associate or bachelor programs at any accredited institution.

Applicants must be high school seniors with a cumulative GPA of 2.50–3.00 at the time of application; preference (and in some language a requirement) is given to students who attended Rome City School and/or who participated in East Noble archery, basketball, or football (as player, manager, or trainer). Applications are submitted via the CFNC Scholarship Apply Portal (complete the eligibility quiz and CFNC Main Application) by January 14, 2027 at 11:00 PM; contact the Community Foundation of Noble County for assistance.
