Nancy Talbot Postdoctoral Research Fellowship

About this program

The American Occupational Therapy Foundation offers the Nancy Talbot Postdoctoral Research Fellowship to support postdoctoral researchers from racial and ethnic groups underrepresented in the health sciences and advance diversity in occupational therapy research. The fellowship provides a $30,000 annual stipend for one year, with competitive renewal possible for a second year, along with mentorship and professional development support. Applicants must hold an occupational therapy degree and doctorate in occupational therapy or a related field, or conduct postdoctoral work in an occupational therapy department, and must have a qualified mentor and IRB approval in process or completed. Research must be conducted at a U.S. academic institution, and applicants must be U.S. citizens or have appropriate residency or visa documentation; applications are due February 20, 2027.
