National Humanities Center Residential Fellowship

About this program

The National Humanities Center offers residential fellowships and related programs that provide time, generous library and reference support, daily meals, and a collaborative intellectual community to advance ambitious research and writing in the humanities. Fellowships are intended for scholars at various career stages who can benefit from and contribute to an in-person community in the Research Triangle (Raleigh–Durham) and who plan independent humanities research and writing projects. Applicants must submit a project proposal and required application materials and should consult the Center’s website for specific eligibility criteria, deadlines, and submission instructions, as awards are competitive.
