NCFR Olson Grant: Bridging Research, Theory, and Practice

About this program

The National Council on Family Relations, supported by David H. Olson, Ph.D., offers an annual $10,000 grant for Family Science projects that creatively bridge research, theory, and practice. Priority is given to projects involving the Circumplex Model, FACES IV, Clinical Rating Scale, or PREPARE/ENRICH resources, with results presented at the NCFR Annual Conference and submitted for journal publication. Applicants must be current NCFR members affiliated with a 501(c)(3) organization or tax-exempt university; eligible applicants include faculty, postdoctoral researchers, and doctoral students nearing dissertation completion. Projects must have an IRB application submitted before applying, and funds are released only after IRB approval.
