NCW Foundation for Youth Grant Program

About this program

Community Foundation of North Central Washington’s NCW Foundation for Youth Grant awards up to $1,000 to support youth-focused activities in Chelan and Douglas counties, including field trips, afterschool programs, transportation, safety equipment, scholarships, clothing and food assistance, recreational/educational access, and holiday giving programs. Effective July 1, 2026 the program implements revised criteria and a three-times-per-year review schedule with a greater focus on smaller organizations. Eligible applicants are nonprofits, schools, clubs, and community organizations serving youth in Chelan and Douglas counties; applications are accepted year-round, awarded funds must be spent within six months, and recipients must wait 12 months before reapplying. Typical non-funded requests include fundraising events, facility improvements, venue rentals, staffing costs, marketing, and out-of-state travel.
