Nedra Gillette Endowed Research Fellowship

The American Occupational Therapy Foundation offers the Nedra Gillette Endowed Research Fellowship, providing $5,000 for one year of postdoctoral training in foundational occupational therapy research on human occupation, participation, performance, and related factors. The fellowship supports recent doctoral graduates in occupational therapy, occupational science, or related fields who are pursuing careers in occupational therapy science, with emphasis on strengthening representation in the research workforce. Applicants must submit an innovative research proposal, career development plan, mentor recommendations, academic transcripts, CV, and diversity and research goals statement, and must be U.S. citizens or hold appropriate residency or visa documentation. Applications open January 5, 2027, and are due February 20, 2027.
