About this program
The IBMA Foundation’s Neil Rosenberg Bluegrass Scholar Award recognizes outstanding bluegrass-related research presented at a juried academic conference in the previous year or completed as a thesis. The selected scholar receives a $1,000 honorarium and admission to the next IBMA Business Conference and Music Awards Show. Eligible applicants include graduate students in MA or PhD programs and individuals who completed a PhD within the past five years. Applications must be emailed to info@bluegrassfoundation.org by June 30, 2026.
