Neiman Institute Fellowship in Clinical Effectiveness and Health Policy Research

About this program

Harvey L. Neiman Health Policy Institute funds the Neiman Institute Fellowship in Clinical Effectiveness and Health Policy Research to train radiology and radiation oncology fellows and junior faculty in health services research methods, health economics, decision sciences and data-driven evaluation of imaging value and policy implications. Fellows receive multidisciplinary mentorship and team support (research coordinators, data analysts, IT, and SHOUT population databases) to pursue projects in cost‑effectiveness, patient outcomes, population health, appropriateness of care and related topics. Eligible applicants must be ACR members with an MD and/or PhD (or equivalent), be a fellow (PGY‑6+) or within five years of faculty appointment, and have a primary appointment at an ACGME‑certified radiology, radiation oncology, or nuclear medicine program; applications require a project proposal, NIH‑style CV (≤5 pages), and a Department Chair/Program Director letter committing 20% protected effort and support for the on‑site program visit and ACR annual meeting.
