NephCure PARASOL Grant Program

About this program

NephCure, in collaboration with the International Society of Glomerular Diseases, Kidney Health Initiative, and National Kidney Foundation, provides direct-cost funding for high-quality FSGS dataset contributions and statistical leadership supporting the PARASOL project. The program supports analyses linking short-term biomarker changes with long-term outcomes to advance alternative endpoints for regulatory approval. Clinician investigators must oversee an eligible cohort, registry, or real-world dataset with substantial FSGS data, while statisticians must provide expertise in study design and analysis; datasets generally require at least 100 qualifying participants, longitudinal proteinuria and eGFR measures, and kidney failure and mortality data. Applications are limited to investigators previously collaborating with or contributing to PARASOL, require prior Organizing Committee approval and invitation, and are reviewed on a rolling basis.
