NephCure – PARASOL Grant Program

About this program

NephCure, in partnership with the International Society of Glomerular Diseases, Kidney Health Initiative, and National Kidney Foundation, offers limited funding to support the PARASOL project’s analysis of FSGS data and development of biomarker-based endpoints for kidney disease outcomes. Grants fund direct costs for high-quality dataset contributions or statistical leadership, with awards made to recipient institutions and no indirect costs. Eligible applicants include invited clinician investigators overseeing qualifying FSGS cohorts, registries, or real-world datasets, and statisticians with expertise in planning and conducting the required analyses. Datasets must generally include at least 100 eligible participants, longitudinal proteinuria and eGFR data, kidney failure and death outcomes, and required follow-up; PARASOL Organizing Committee approval and invitation are required before submission, which is accepted on a rolling basis.
