NephCure Pilot Grant Program

About this program

NephCure offers Pilot Grants of up to $250,000 in direct costs per project over 24 months to support investigator-initiated clinical and translational research in glomerular disease using CureGN and/or NEPTUNE resources. Projects may generate feasibility data, develop clinical assays or protocols, or support early-phase clinical trials, with funding beginning no earlier than January 2028. Eligible applicants include CureGN/NEPTUNE investigators and collaborators, as well as unaffiliated scientists at national or international institutions, provided proposed studies leverage consortium infrastructure, data, biospecimens, or other resources. Applicants must obtain CureGN and/or NEPTUNE ancillary study and Steering Committee approvals before submitting to NephCure; the Letter of Intent deadline is January 15, 2027.
