NephCure Pilot Grant Program

About this program

NephCure offers pilot grants of up to $250,000 in direct costs per project, distributed over two years, to support investigator-initiated clinical and translational research in glomerular disease using CureGN and/or NEPTUNE resources. Projects may generate feasibility data, develop clinical assays or protocols, or support early-phase clinical trials, with starts no earlier than January 2028. CureGN/NEPTUNE investigators and collaborators, as well as unaffiliated scientists at national or international institutions, are eligible, provided proposals leverage consortium infrastructure, data, biospecimens, or related resources and meet ancillary-study and Steering Committee approval requirements. Letters of intent are due January 15, 2027, followed by invited ancillary-study applications and final NephCure applications.
