About this program
The Neuroendocrine Tumor Research Foundation (NETRF) offers Pilot Awards of $100,000 for one year to support innovative pilot or feasibility studies on neuroendocrine cancers, with one or two focused aims. Applicants must hold an MD, PhD, MD/PhD, or equivalent degree and be faculty at the Instructor level or above, with the expertise and resources to conduct the proposed research. Eligible applicants may be based at domestic or international public or private institutions, but biotech, pharmaceutical, and for-profit life sciences companies are ineligible; a Letter of Intent is required before a full application. Awardees must attend the annual NETRF Research Symposium and submit regular progress reports.
